Description | The Rock Painting was placed in a cave on the northern slope of the Karadere Valley. The painting is showing an assemblage of mainly male figures of different sizes in frontal view. Four of them are apparently wearing long robes. The principal one seems to be the fourth figure from the left, whose elevated position and his elevated arms with clenched hands raises him above the crowd. The T-shaped headdress may connote horns and is interpreted as a god, magician or shaman. The main figure therefore represents perhaps the Weather God. |
