Description | During the excavations from 1974 to 1984 on the hill Tsoungiza at Nemea only fillings of rock wells or ravines were found so far. Due to the numerous finds and remains of clay bricks, a Neolithic settlement is supposed on the hill crown. In one of the rock well fillings some fragments of two human skeletal remains were found. Nevertheless, the content of the rock well is to be regarded as waste and not as a burial. |
