Description | The cave was mainly used for food storage as numerous Pithoi prove. The burials were only laid down when the cave was not used elsewhere and give the impression of secondary deposition. Moreover, in Late Neolithic a cemetery existed outside the cave, next to the settlement of Tharrounia which was situated near the cave. |
