Description The oldest layers found in the cave are from the Middle Palaeolithic and are 40 000 years old. Among the finds from this period were flint-tools in Levallois technique, bone-tools, a tooth from a cave bear and carbonized seeds. A complete human skeleton was found in a palaeolithic layer which is 14 500 years old.
