Description | The complex building in the West Court of the Palace from Stratum III B was still used. Pits were installed in the area, and above them Building B was erected. Southern of it, there was Building G 1, which was destroyed at the transition to Late Neolithic II. The lower part of stratum II in Area AC is to be equated with stratum III A in Area BD. Pottery: rippled decoration decreases, incised decoration increases (diagonal parallel lines in form of triangles and angles); new: horizontal ladder-motif, checkerboard- motif, "knitting pattern", "sewing motif"; most frequent forms: curving-out cups with flat base, tubs or lids, ladles with wishbone handles and ripple-decor, bi-conical cups, weaver's shuttle; new: bridge spout, foot-bowls (foots have cut-out zones) Pottery found under the Throne Room can also be ascribed to this context. |
