Comment The pottery mostly dates into the later Early Neolithic I (Knossos Stratum V), only a few are Early Neolithic II (Knossos Stratum IV). Connections to Knossos are visible in the pottery tradition, but contrary to Knossos the coarse ware prevails. It was probably produced locally, and regional distinctions can be observed (white and red coating; the red coating in form of bands and spots can be interpreted as a local experiment).
