| Comment | The mineral tempered wares are made mainly of large basalt (and some other elements as well) tempered paste which was intentionally added in great quantities. Their surfaces are similar to the DFBW, but their mottled surfaces are sometimes plain, sometimes burnished. Firing conditions varied; deep bowls with convex bodies. |
