Comment | Jugs were a common form here. They had a high cylindrical neck, a small lug that was horizontally pierced, and a strap handle that was pulled up in a sharp angle. Most of the pottery was handmade, had thick walls, was heavily grogged and had a monochrome and burnished surface. |
