| Description | The analysis of faunal and botanical material has just begun, and at present even a preliminary presentation is not possible; however, both the architectural remains and the cultural deposition suggest that the settlement was in use through the entire year and continuously for a long period of time with no apparent interruption. The relative abundance of arrowheads implies that hunting was common. We assume that the settlement at Gusir should be classified as a "sedentary hunter-gathterers" habitation. |
