Description | The Gerani-Cave was discovered while constructing the freeway between Chania and Rethymnon in 1969. It is situated 7 km western of Rethymnon in Kyani Akti at the bottom of the hills of Gerani and 300 m away from the sea. The original entrance was cleared in 1996. |
