Description This layer encompasses three levels beneath Level 6 (7,8,9). Excavations took place in 2004, where a deep sounding was opened in the western part of trench 16K. The bottom of the deep sounding reaches 6 m underneath the summit of the mound, but there are at least 3,5 m of potential archaeological deposit still below that. The soil of these layers below the ashy deposit of the open areas looks like a colluvial deposition. Below Level 6, the finds of obsidian, pottery and faunal remains has decreased. Because of the small size of the area, the cultulral development can't be specified.
