Comment | Crop plants (figs, almonds, several grains, vegetables) have been cultivated since the Aceramic Neolithic. Some carbonized crops were found in the court area of stratum 39. Maybe the crops were stored in mud brick-timber constructions at the edge of the settlement, which indicates communal storage. Also, the found botanical remains indicate a thermo-Mediterranean climate. |
