Comment | The pottery was either grogged with stones or fine ware. It varied in color from brown to red and from grey to black. The handles and lugs were affixed separately. The cups had horns attached to them, the lugs could be pierced. They were decorated with linear incisions, or were pattern burnished like the Pyrgos-ware (in one case with red ocher). |
