Comment | many animal bones were found in almost all areas other than houses (on streets, passageways, squares), the rubbish pits in Level V (almost only for horse bones) and III were only built for bones. animal bones: sheep/goat, wild horses, cow(ox, wild asses, rabbit, 3 kinds of deer (capreolus, cervus, dama), dogs, pigs, foxes, bears, hedgehogs, small carnivores; all these animals were both domesticated and wild; the finds show that goats were eaten when older, sheep were eaten young; |
