| Comment | The vessel shapes are still generallysimple as in Phase 1. Hemispherical bowls are commonly seen. The new ware contains a large amount of plant inclusions together with grit. The vessel walls are relatively thick, and dark coloured cores are clearly visible. The surface colours are generally a light tone ranging from reddish brown to buff. The surfaces are usually finished by smoothing. |
