Comment | The tool kit consists of end-scrapers, perforators, burins, and points with truncations and notches. Retouch is not frequent at the beginning but increases to 50% by the end of the stage. Flint points on short blades, El Khiam points, and hollow-based points are also present. Thin flat blades are typical for this stage. Obsidian is rare and the ratio of it among the slightly retouched pieces is not more than 11%. The artifacts hav been made from small cores. According to Binder "No artifact could be attributed to pressure processes corresponding to the Round houses and Grill buildings, even within the Late Grill subphase." |
