Comment | According to van Zeist, "morphologically defined wild emmer wheat in the early stages (Channeled Building Subphase)... was most probably cultivated." The stocks of emmer wheat in building CA, and the abundance of grinding slabs, hoes, sickles, and "V" shaped artifacts indicates that cereals have become the basis of nutrition, although there is no decrease in the consumption of legumes. |
