Comment | One axe was found on the Koutoulaki-field in the North; in the 550 found stone axes, no typological development is visible. The axes were best-suited to chop wood. The different materials indicate an exchange network (peridotite imported from northwestern of Anoyeia, 20 km western of Knossos; dark diorite from the Asterousia-Mountains and from southern of Ano Viannos, 45 km away from Knossos) |
