Comment | The Neolithic strata beneath the Throne Room System were examined. Just layers of grey and yellowish soil were excavated, that were partly contaminated by ashes, and partly were results from mud buildings. The strata sloped down to the north and were partly removed in order to build the Palace, and partly the Palace walls were built into the strata. Further excavations were executed in the southwest wing of the Palace and in the West Court. |
