Comment | Abundant animal bones were collected, especially near the hearths in the Late Neolithic levels. According to information from Dr. Hongo, four animal species dominate the faunal assemblage: cattle, goat, sheep, and pig. All of the collected and identified bones belong to domestic species. Even the preliminary results of the animal bone analyses indicate that the community at Hakemi Use was occupied with animal husbandry. |
