Comment | The subcategory of Coarse Ware is characterized by rough surfaces that are either left untreated, wiped or wet-smoothed; the most common surface color is buff, while occasionall there are some in light brown. The specific type of vessel first noted at Tell Hassuna, and convetionally named "husking trays", are present in all five levels with no significant chang in their ratios. |
